White & Yellow all the way through. White & Yellow handloom linen, from the pleats to the end of the pallu — no contrast body, no second half. What breaks it is a thin silver zari border running the full length, and a band of fine silver stripes across the pallu that catches light when you move.

The embroidery sits high on the shoulder drape, where it will actually be seen. Thin brown vines, pink blossoms, coral rosettes in looped thread, small tight knots of yellow and cream, olive leaves scattered through. It is worked by hand, stitch by stitch — which is why no two of these are laid out quite the same. The pallu finishes in green and cream tassels.

How to style it
