Fabric & Weave

It's cotton silk, a blend of cotton and silk, with a soft sheen. All the gold detailing is gold-coloured thread, not zari.

The border is woven in gold-coloured thread, with motifs along its length, and edged in dark brown. The orange pallu carries thin gold-coloured stripes and a wide gold band, and finishes in black and gold tassels.

6.24 m long, including a 90 cm orange running blouse attached to the saree, and 1.2 m wide. About 500 g. Free size.

How to Style It

The attached blouse piece is orange, so it picks up the pallu. For a tonal look, a red blouse works instead. Metallic jewellery picks up the gold.

Care

Hand wash in cold water with a mild detergent. No bleach. Wash it separately, since reds and oranges can run. Don't wring, line dry in shade, and use a warm iron.
