Fabric and craft

Modal silk falls softly and carries a gentle sheen. It is lighter than heavier silks, which makes it easier to wear through a long day in warm weather.

Ajrakh is one of the oldest block-print traditions of Kutch. Each motif is pressed by hand with carved wooden blocks, so small variations are part of the piece. No two sets are exactly alike.
