Fabric & Weave

Cotton silk is cotton blended with silk, which gives the mustard body a gentle sheen. The gold you see is woven in gold-coloured thread, not zari.

A border woven in gold-coloured thread runs the length of the saree, with motifs along it, edged in dark brown. The red pallu carries thin gold-coloured stripes, then a wide gold band and a mustard end panel, finishing in black and gold tassels.

6.24 m long, with a 90 cm red running blouse attached to the saree. 1.2 m wide and about 500 g. Free size.

How to Style It

Mustard and red is warm, bright and easy to wear by day. The attached red blouse ties in with the pallu. A mustard blouse keeps the body colour going instead. Gold jewellery picks up the woven gold, so keep one piece as the statement.
