Chukki Handloom Cotton Saree – Maroon

A maroon saree from our Chukki Collection, woven on a handloom in cotton. "Chukki" means a dot or little star in Kannada and Telugu — and every motif on this saree is built from tiny woven white dots.

The deep maroon body carries rows of dotted "X" buttas. Along the edge, clusters of diamond-tipped arrow motifs lead into a soft pink border lined with fine maroon and white stripes. The pallu is banded with white stripes and bold dotted tribal figures, and finishes in black and white hand-knotted tassels.

Earthy, minimal and easy to drape — a saree for the office, a day out, or a small family function.
