An indigo blue saree in 100% cotton, hand-block printed by artisans in India. Off-white floral buttas run in rows across the body, framed by a zigzag border. The pallu carries bands of zigzags, circle chains, a fine floral lattice and a temple-triangle motif.
Every motif is pressed by hand with a carved wooden block, so you'll see small variations from print to print — a slight shift in tone, a softened edge. That's the hand at work, not a flaw.
The blouse fabric comes attached — indigo with off-white polka dots. Cut it from the saree and have it tailored to your fit.
Light and breathable, it's easy for daily and office wear. Silver or oxidised jewellery suits the indigo beautifully.

Care
Before the first wash, soak in salt water for a few minutes — no more than 10 — to help set the colour.
The colour may run. Hand wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent, or give it for dry cleaning.
No bleach. Don't wring. Line dry in shade. Warm iron.
