Indigo Blue Hand-Block Printed Cotton Saree with Dotted Floral Jaal and Zigzag Pallu

An indigo blue saree in 100% cotton, hand-block printed by artisans in India. A dense jaal of off-white dot clusters and small flowers covers the body, with sky-blue vines running beneath — giving the print a soft, layered depth. Slanted off-white bars frame the border. The pallu opens into wide zigzag bands in off-white and sky blue, broken by a floral jaal and slanted stripes.

Every motif is pressed by hand with a carved wooden block, so you'll see small variations from print to print — a slight shift in tone, a softened edge. That's the hand at work, not a flaw.

The blouse fabric comes attached — indigo, scattered with small sky-blue chevrons and edged with the slanted-bar border. Cut it from the saree and have it tailored to your fit.

Easy for office days and daily wear, and the busy print forgives a long day. Oxidised silver jhumkas suit it well.

Care

• Before the first wash, soak in salt water for a few minutes — no more than 10 — to help set the colour.
• The colour may run. Hand wash separately in cold water with a mild detergent, or give it for dry cleaning.
• No bleach. Don't wring. Line dry in shade. Warm iron.
