Indigo Blue Hand-Block Printed Cotton Saree with Clover Buttas and Tree Spray Pallu

An indigo blue saree in 100% cotton, hand-block printed by artisans in India. Small clover-shaped buds — outlined in off-white with sky-blue centres — are scattered across the body with tiny leaf sprigs. A border of fine dashes and oval motifs frames it. The pallu opens into wide zigzag bands in off-white and sky blue around a wide off-white panel of indigo tree sprays.

Every motif is pressed by hand with a carved wooden block, so you'll see small variations from print to print — a slight shift in tone, a softened edge. That's the hand at work, not a flaw.

The blouse fabric comes attached — indigo with sky-blue zigzags. Cut it from the saree and have it tailored to your fit.

Easy for office days, travel and daily wear. Oxidised silver suits it.

Care

• Before the first wash, soak in salt water for a few minutes — no more than 10 — to help set the colour.
