This saree is handwoven in viscose cotton. Because viscose is a semi-synthetic fibre, this isn't a pure cotton saree, and we'd rather you knew.

It isn't an ikat, and there's no zari. Every motif is woven in beige and white thread. The pallu carries wide bands of beige and white woven stripes between scattered motifs, and finishes in pink tassels.

Small irregularities come from the handloom, not from faults.

How to Style It

Pick up the border with a pink blouse. For contrast, a pastel blouse lifts the deep purple. Keep to one statement piece, ideally handmade jewellery.
